A UK-based charity, the Cleft Lip and Palate Association provides support for new parents, and for people with the condition and their families. Their website has a varied user base and a wealth of information which needs to be presented in a coherent manner.

This project was a redesign of the existing CLAPA website, which I have worked on since 2006. The aim of this update was to integrate a membership scheme and create a “community feel”, as well as making content easier to navigate to.

I chose Expression Engine for the backend, and imported content from the previous CMS and legacy forum software. The design helps the different types of users access relevant information quickly and easily.
